A message keeps popping up on our computer that says "there is a problem with your sound device". We currently have no sound at all on our computer and control panel/my computer says we have no sound device at all...does this mean we just need a new sound card?

Hi Steph, Check your bios to see if your sound card is enabled or disabled. If it is disabled enable it and start windows. If windows do not recognize the sound card then install the drivers for it. If you don't have a sound card or the drivers or it is broken, then yes just get a new sound card and install it in your computer.

Hi Steph,

Check your bios to see if your sound card is enabled or disabled. If it is disabled enable it and start windows. If windows do not recognize the sound card then install the drivers for it.

If you don't have a sound card or the drivers or it is broken, then yes just get a new sound card and install it in your computer.
